If the grace is fully used, the FormBoost COD form pauses until you upgrade or your next usage cycle begins. Your historical data remains available.

What counts as a successful order?
Only successful Shopify orders created through your FormBoost COD form count toward your monthly allowance — a submission counts when the Shopify order was created successfully. Pending submissions, abandoned leads, form views, failed submissions, test orders, spam blocked by FormBoost, and orders that never reach Shopify never count. An order that is created and later cancelled or refunded was still processed, so it counts as usage.
What happens when I reach my monthly allowance?
FormBoost alerts you well before you reach it. Starter and Growth then include a 10-order emergency grace period so you can upgrade without an unexpected interruption. If the grace is fully used, the FormBoost COD form pauses until you upgrade or your next usage cycle begins — your customers can still buy through Shopify's standard checkout, and all of your orders, leads and settings remain available in your dashboard.
Are there overage fees?
No. FormBoost never charges overage fees. You choose when to upgrade — your subscription price only changes when you approve it through Shopify.
Is there a free trial?
Growth and Unlimited include a 14-day free trial on your first subscription. Starter is free — no credit card required.
Do you offer discounts for annual billing?
Yes. Annual billing saves roughly 17% versus monthly. Growth: $99/year. Unlimited: $199/year.
Are any services billed separately?
All current core FormBoost software features are included in every plan. If you connect optional third-party services with their own usage costs (for example SMS or WhatsApp messaging providers), those providers' fees are separate and always shown before you enable them.
Can I change plans later?
You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect immediately and billing is handled entirely through Shopify — you approve every charge.
